My Bucket List

I don't love this movie just because I have my own prejudices with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. A very simple, humorous, to-the-point movie. I will not waste time explaining what these guys have done in the movie, its pretty straight forward. They've given their best - being their usual self.

Anyways, the movie is basically about two old men wanting to do a list of things before they kick their own buckets. Thence, The Bucket List. And the irony is that both the men knew that THE day is not too far, so they take off to complete their Bucket List. Here's their list, I cannot explain where they go, what they do & talk as you've to see the movie to get a feel for it, so, I strongly encourage you to watch the movie.
  1. Witness something truly majestic
  2. Help a complete stranger for a common good
  3. Laugh till I cry
  4. Drive a Shelby Mustang
  5. Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world
  6. Get a tattoo
  7. Skydiving
  8. Visit Stonehenge
  9. Spend a week at Louvre
  10. See Rome
  11. See the pyramids
  12. Get back in touch (previously "Hunt the big cat")
I was so moved after the movie and the first thing I did was to start with My Bucket List. I had to borrow a few from the above, anyways. And hey, I've already done a few of the below and I sincerely hope and wish I get time to complete my list. Just so you know, this list is WIP, so don't think that I'm too dumb to stop it with these few items. Here we go...
  1. Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world
    • Done. Well, twice actually. Anu and Maya
  2. Work towards understanding and honing Maya in a field that she's really interested & versatile in and make her world renowned in that field
  3. Laugh till I cry
    • Done. Many a times in Srirangam, College, Alwar Thiru Nagar, Connecticut, and Thanks to all who made it happen
  4. Go for a Gondola Ride in Venice with Anu and Maya
  5. Drive a Ducati with Anu
  6. Spend a week (or more) at Louvre
  7. See the 7 wonders of the world
  8. Start an Ethnic, Indian Vegetarian restaurant and be the Chief Chef
  9. Contest in Iron Chef America
  10. Buy the home where I lived in Srirangam for 14 years
  11. Visit all National Parks in the US
  12. Go for a safari ride in Africa where I can see lions, tigers in close quarters
  13. Have lunch/dinner with following people (Of course not all of them together)
That's all I can possibly think of right now and I honestly don't want to bull $hit with "Help Others", "World peace" crap. The former should be inherent within oneself.

Hey, again, don't miss to watch the movie!
